StudioM8 Expands Into Copyright Protection and Creator Services
New Partnership with American Films Brings Film-Pass Technology and Copyright Services to the StudioM8 Ecosystem
September 4, 2026

StudioM8 (Dash Global Inc.) is expanding its technology and services ecosystem with a new engagement with American Films, Inc. (OTCID: AMFL) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Facterra LLC, to build, market, and manage the technology infrastructure supporting Film-Pass.
The new relationship represents an important expansion of StudioM8’s mission to provide technology and services that help creators, copyright holders, and businesses protect and manage their digital assets.
Introducing Film-Pass Technology
Film-Pass is designed to provide Internet Service Provider subscribers with access to copyright claim response, legal services, and settlement support related to copyright infringement claims associated with household activity.
Participating subscribers may receive up to $1,500 in legal services and settlement support, along with access to negotiated settlement options for certain qualifying prior infringement matters, subject to the applicable Film-Pass terms and eligibility requirements.
StudioM8, through its parent company Dash Global Inc., will be responsible for supporting the technology platform, automated operations, and marketing initiatives that help connect participating subscribers and copyright holders with the Film-Pass ecosystem.
Expanding StudioM8’s Role in the Creative Community
StudioM8 was built to connect creators with the tools, spaces, technology, and services they need to create and grow.
This new engagement expands that vision beyond the creative process itself.
Through its existing contractual business relationship with the Recording Artists Guild (RAG.org), StudioM8 already provides technology and related services to members of the RAG.org network. The Film-Pass relationship creates an opportunity to extend additional technology and copyright-related services to eligible members who participate through StudioM8, American Films, Inc., or Film-Pass platforms.
For creators, this means StudioM8 is continuing to build an ecosystem that addresses not only where and how creative work is produced, but also how that work can be protected and managed.
A White-Label Technology Platform
Dash Global will support the deployment of Film-Pass through a white-label technology arrangement, allowing the platform and its services to operate under the Film-Pass brand while utilizing technology and operational infrastructure developed and managed by Dash Global.
This technology-first approach allows StudioM8 and Dash Global to develop scalable systems that can potentially serve different organizations, markets, and audiences without requiring each organization to build an entirely new technology infrastructure from the ground up.
Looking Beyond the U.S.
The expansion of the Film-Pass platform is also expected to create opportunities for international deployment.
American Films, Inc. has indicated that it expects to explore the launch of similar platforms in Brazil with Dash Global’s support by the end of 2026.
For StudioM8, the opportunity represents another step toward developing technology platforms capable of serving creators, businesses, and consumers on a larger scale.
Building the Future of the Creative Ecosystem
StudioM8’s goal has always been bigger than simply connecting people with creative spaces.
From recording studios and creative professionals to technology, digital services, and now copyright-related solutions, StudioM8 continues to expand the ways it can support the creative community.
The partnership with American Films and the development of Film-Pass mark another milestone in that evolution—bringing together technology, automation, marketing, copyright services, and creator-focused solutions in one expanding ecosystem.
StudioM8 is building more than a platform. We’re building infrastructure for the future of creativity.
